GRASSROOTS COMMITTEE

Want to get involved in politics, the old-fashioned way? Join our Grassroots Committee to go face-to-face with the voters of America. Help us to REGISTER VOTERS, to TRAIN NEW VOLUNTEERS, to do PHONE BANKING, to work our TABLES around Los Angeles, to plan RALLIES, or to plan or lead a local MEETUP. Want to join us on our BUS TRIPS as we CANVAS the battleground states? Join our Grassroots Committee to get active on the ground and get the word out about Barack Obama.

COMMUNCATIONS COMMITTEE

ObamaLA needs to get its message out every day. Want to help draft PRESS RELEASES or write LETTERS TO THE EDITOR? Interested in POLICY RESEARCH? If you want to help us explode onto the MEDIA scene, join the Communications Committee and make sure voters know that Barack Obama is hope for the next generation in American politics.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

In order for our Grassroots and Communications committees to function and in order for us to maintain our web presence, we will need sufficient funding over the next two years. Want to HOST, ORGANIZE or STAFF a FUNDRAISER? This can include finding LOCATIONS, creating INVITIATIONS, and arranging TALENT. Want to help out with MERCHANDISING? Also, we will be helping out the national campaign when they need volunteers/experts for their fundraisers. Join the Fundraising Committee so that ObamaLA can do the work necessary to elect Barack Obama in 2008.
