Wear your Obama shirt to the gym. People will come to you and ask such things as “Did you go to his rally?” or “You're working for him already, what can I do?” It happens on a regular basis to us! |
| 3 |
Wear your button to the store, on the mass transit, to parties, to bars. Also make sure to put a bumper sticker on your car or make a lawn sign using rally signs! You’ll find that a lot of people are looking for information on Senator Obama and just don’t know where to look. (If you put a bumper sticker on your car, make sure you drive with courtesy and without road rage!) |
| 4 |
Go to events such as the peace rallies, universal healthcare rallies and other progressive movement. Make sure to bring information to pass out to these like-minded souls. If you need flyers, make sure to ask! |
| 5 |
Cut out complimentary articles and take it upon yourself to post them on community bulletin boards. They may be removed later by the person in charge of the board, but in the meantime, several persons might read it. Always make sure to reference www.ObamaLA.com. The more hits we get, the more people learn about this wonderful man. |
| 6 |
Put an Obama pitch on your home and cell voice mails. Telemarketers and wrong numbers vote too! |
| 7 |
Print out some of Senator Obama’s speeches from his website to share with your friends and family. Even better, provide them a copy of one of his books. A lot of people won’t take the time to look up information on line or even watch the news – so bringing him into their households can make a huge difference. |

Attend community service events in your community wearing your Obama T-Shirt. What a great way to promote a community activist like Barack Obama! |

| Every person you talk to about Obama will remember the conversation the next time they hear his name on the news and each one will perhaps listen a bit more intently and may decide he's the man. None of this is incidental even if it seems so. You just have to have the guts to walk around in public in a campaign button two years before an election! But when you consider who's in there now, isn't it worth it?! |
